SHARK LEMON (Negaprion brevirostris)

The catch-and-release of a 385 lb lemon on fly by angler Mratin Arostegui. this is the heaviest fish ever caught on fly tackle on 16 lb line.

The shark lemon is a memener of the family Carcharhinidae, can grow up to 10 feet (3 metres) long.The  shark is known as the "lemon"  because light interacting at certain depths, with the local seawater, can give this shark a tanned and yellow pitted appearance, much like the surface of a lemon fruit.
