Specked hind is a member of the grouper family. It is also called grouper strawberry, grouper calico or kitty mitchell. This fish is found in Bermuda and the east part of United States. Speckled hind inhabit warm, moderately deep watersand its preferred habitats include high- and low-profile hard bottoms in depths of 30 to 200 meters. Seems it can lives up to 25 years and can reach the 65 lb - 30 kg of weight.
